Carmelita was born in Cañon, NM on September 13, 1930 to Delfin and Victoria García.
Carmelita was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Esquipula García and daughters, Linda and Anita Garcia.
Carmelita is survived by loving daughter, Victoria I. García, sister, Aurora Martínez, three dogs and three cats.
Carmelita graduated from Bernalillo High School in 1948. Carmelita worked as a nurse's aide for eight years. Carmelita enjoyed canning, going to the casino, listening to her favorite radio station 89.1 and loved talking to her sister, Aurora on the phone.
Carmelita will be greatly missed by her loving family and those whose lives she touched.
