A funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ross, Burke & Knobel Mortuary with burial to follow in Virginia City Cemetery, Virginia City for Peter Lee Dobbins, 78, who died Monday in a Reno hospital.
A Virginia City resident for the last 23 years, he was born Jan. 26, 1901 in Roanoke, Va.
Dobbins a self-employed carpenter has restored several historical homes and had owned and operated the House of Bottles in Virginia City.
Survivors include his widow, Bessie and Helena Davis, both of Virginia City; a daughter, Alice Conrad of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
