Mrs. Sandlin was born February 2, 1922 in Angelina County, Texas, and she died Tuesday, November 12, 1996, in a Tyler hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Mrs Sandlin wa a homemaker and mother. She was a member of McKindree Baptist Church, and had been a resident of Angelina County all her life.
Survivors include her husband, Leo Sandlin; daughter, Helen McDonald of Pasadena; sons and daughters-in-law, Ed M. and Linda Fancher, E. H. and Betty Fancher, all of Lufkin; step-daughter, Jane Hancock of Oklahoma; step-son and his wife, Glenn and Mary Sandlin of Winnie; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Mae McClendon of Lufkin.
