Services for Betty Andrews Herriott will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Hilliard Funeral Home in Van, with visitation an hour prior to services. Graveside services will be held at Red Hill Cemetery in Murchison.
Betty Joan Herriott was born August 8, 1943 in Henderson County, Texas. She had been a resident of Murchison all of her life. She enjoyed doing word searches, and crafts.
Betty passed away at the age of 75 on August 5, 2019 in Tyler. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Andrews; second husband, Weaver Herriott; son, Tony Andrews; parents, Robert Luther Gray and Mamie Lorene Stevens Gray; step-daughter, Betty Jean Amyx; and grandson, Joseph Gentry and David Brown.
Survivors include her three daughters, Kathy Carroll of Murchison, Penny Andrews of Seven Points, and Angela Gentry of Murchison; three step-daughters, Myra Gracia of San Marcos, Lois Heath of Houston, and Jo Damon of San Marcos; siblings, Harvey Gray of Conroe, Nell Emerine (J.P.) of Flint, and Debbie Chambers (John) of Athens; grandchildren, Jayme Trussell, Cheyenne Andrews, Joe Andrews, Kimberley Antal, Curtis Mobley, James Schindler, Corri Riddler, Lori Ling, Damon O'Brien, Robin Archer, and Selena Cornwall; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
