Byron W. Callebs, 63, of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at his home.

Born in Laurel County, Byron was the son of the late James and Zella Hawn Callebs. He had worked in the dietary department at The Heritage.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Callebs, and his sister, Helen Disney.

Byron is survived by his sister, Sue Mills; nephew, Rodney Disney; four nieces, Sherry Pace, Kimberly Wheat, Jennifer Daniel, and Tracy Teague; seven great nieces and nephews; and by four great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Ernie Robbins and Rev. Paul Sims officiating. Burial will be in the Hawn Cemetery in Knox County.
