DURHAMVILLE - Services
for Mrs. Ruth Barton Shetler
66, of 5501 Main St. will be at
2 p.m. Thursday at the J. Ho-
mer Ball Funeral Home, 201
James St., Canastota.
Burial will be in Lenox Rural Cemetery. Calling hours
will be after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Shetler died Monday
night at Oneida City Hospital.
She was born in Owego . In
1903 she was married to Norman Shetler. They had lived
in Durhamville for 10 years
and prior to that lived in the
Canastota area.
Surviving, besides her husband, are three sons, Harold
of Canastota, Charles - of
Munnsville and Roger Shetler
of Durhamville; seven daughters, Mrs. Lillian Kimpton of
Sylvan Bach, Mrs. Ether Husband and Mrs. Marian Carolla, both of Oneida, Mrs. Millicent Gibbs of Syracuse, Mrs.
Dorotny Ludeke of Oneida.Mrs. Leroy Natanson of
North Syracuse and Miss Carlene Shetler, at home.
Also a brother, Andrew Barton of Nicholas; four sisters,
Jackson Beach, Fla., Mrs.
Edith Culver of Barton,
Mass.; Mrs. Margaret Sherman and Mrs. Helen Sherwood, both of Nicholas; 31
grandchildren and a great grandson.

Dau. of Harry Silas Barton & Edith Grace Hollenback. Her family moved to Canastota, NY around 1919 and she Married Mar. 17, 1920 in Canastota, NY to Norman Shetler. Mother of 17 children. Lived on their "Norman Shetler" farm in Whitelaw and later at 5501 Main St., Durhamville, NY, died at Oneida City Hospital a month before her 50th wedding anniv.
