Jimmie William Bennett passed away at home in Trinity, Texas on January 13, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 16, 1943 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Garland and Pearline Bennett.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Janice Schandorf.

Jimmie is survived by his daughters Lisa Bennett and Rhonda Buck, sons Vince Bennett and Chris Bennett, grandchildren Jordan, Monica, Kristy , Jeremiah, Nicholas and wife Jen, Rachel and husband Scott, Taylor, and Travis, great-grandchildren Jacobi, Destiny, Tatiana, Justice, Ashlynn, Alex, Honesti, Colton, Jase, William, Leah, Hallie, Lily, and Archer, one great-great-grandchild Royalty, nephews and niece Dennis, Darrell, and Kim, and the mother of his children, Sue Sanders. Numerous extended family and friends also survive.

In lieu of flowers, donations made be made in the memory of Jimmie to the SPCA or the Wounded Warrior Project.
