Anne Marie Farrier, 60, of Big Springs, Nebraska passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 in Big Springs. Memorial services will be held Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 10:30am at the South Platte High School with Pastor Todd Lanman officiating. A reception will follow the service for all in attendance. Private family inurnment will be at the Big Springs Cemetery.

Anne Marie Farrier (Brown) was born April 27, 1957 in Julesburg, CO to Everett W. and Lucille E. (Hansen) Brown. She attended school in Big Springs, Nebraska. On July 4, 1981 Anne married Gary D. Farrier in Sedgwick, CO, and to this union two sons Rodney and Daniel were born. Anne worked as a custodian for the South Platte Schools for 33 years. She loved being out in her yard, gardening, and bird watching.

Anne is survived by son Rodney Farrier (Liberty) of Big Springs, son Daniel Farrier of Loveland, CO, grandsons Eric Nolting of Sterling, CO, Jason Farrier of Big Springs, Tanner Farrier of Big Springs, sister Louise (Arnold) Hollingsworth of Deertrail, CO, sister Virginia Cavanaugh of Rapid City, SD, sister Lois McComb of Tulsa, OK, brother Clint Brown of Big Springs, brother Richard Brown (Dawne) of Big Springs, brother Larry Brown (Gaillene) of Big Springs, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gary Farrier, brother Stan Brown, brother James “Jim” Brown, brother Donald Brown, and parents Everett and Lucille Brown.

Memorials can be made in Anne’s memory to the South Platte Penny Carnival/Student Activity Fund c/o Susan McGreer South Platte Schools 610 Plum St. Big Springs, NE 69122.
