YOAKUM: Floyd Nelson Dickinson, 86, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019. He was born September 1, 1932 in DeWitt County to Melton Weiah Dickinson and Maude Lou (Utz) Dickinson.
He served in the United States Navy and trained as a barber. He returned to Yoakum and had Floyd’s Barber Shop for over 50 years in various locations in Yoakum.
He is the last of his family and there are no survivors. He was a resident at Stevens Nursing and Rehabilitation for many years and will be missed by his friends there.
Preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
At his request no Funeral Service will be held. His cremains will be interred at County Line Cemetery with his parents at his request.
