Lonnie Ray Allen, age 69, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019, at the Robley Rex Veterans Administration Medical Center in Louisville, KY. Mr. Allen was born November 22, 1949, the son of William Randolph and Marcella Bennett Allen. He was a truck driver by trade and had a true passion for his occupation.

Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Donna Miller; and three brothers, Ronnie, Jackie and Jeff Allen. He is survived by his children, Theresa Allen Ray, and her husband, Jerrico, Rhodelia, KY, Anthony Allen, and his wife, Shannon, Cloverport, KY; two grandchildren, Austin Ray Allen and Lacy Elizabeth Allen; four sisters, Denise Hockman, Battletown, KY, Terri Bewley, and her husband, Ernie, Brandenburg, KY, Monica Hersey, and her husband, Charlie, Ekalaka, MT, Cheryl Horrock, and her husband, Mike, Guston, KY; three brothers, Stanley Allen, Guston, KY, Nick Allen, Caneyville, KY, Mike Allen, and his wife, Lori, Vine Grove, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Deacon Greg Beavin officiating.
