w/o William Charles RobertsMildred Helen Dent, 80, of Greenbrier, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 26, 2013. Born in Whteville, TN, she was a daughter to the late John and Ada Lou (Rose) Cannon.

Mildred was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Trinity Faith Tabernacle in Greenbrier.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomsas Oliver Whitehead, six brothers and seven sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are, her children; Virgil Whitehead (Rosa) of MS, Thomas Whitehead of FL, Carl Whtehead (Maria) of TX, Jerry Whitehead (Sheila) of TX, Randall Whitehead of OH, Catherine Reese (James) of GA, LeAnna Hill (Billy) of OK, Mildred Coonrod (Rickey) of AR and Linda Fielding of MS; 32 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; sisters; Evelyn Wells of AR and Marie Billings of TN and numerous extended family members and friends.

The family sends special thanks to her loving caregivers, her granddaughters, Angela Payne and Laura Glover and her church family.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier, with Bro. Clay Stubbs officiating. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery near Mayflower, with Jeromy Presley, Paul Woods, Andrew Anderson, Aaron Payne, Justin Whitehead and Harold Terry serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Fred Gates. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home.
