Richard E. Adamson, 81,Coral died December 19, 2018 at his residence.

He was the son of the late Maryellen (Wadding) and Melvin M. Adamson and was born May 14, 1937 in Armstrong County.

Rick was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, American Legion Post #493, Indiana, the Red Bard Sportsman Club, and the Tide Sportsman Club. Rick was also the president of the Federation of Sportsmen. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors and was a big Steelers fan. Rick was retired from FMC.

He was survived by his four children, Monica and husband Tony Maggio, Homer City; Martin Adamson and wife Ronda, Homer City; Kimberly and husband Bruce Stewart, Colver and Rodney Adamson and wife Anita, Shelocta; nine grandchildren, Nina, David, Beth Ann, Nathan, Ian, Kaitlyn, Erika, Zachary and Jeran and one great grandson, James. His brother, Ernest Adamson, Creekside and his sister, Sarah Henry, Lucernemines also survive him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Richard A. Adamson and his brother, Melvin "Toot" Adamson.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
