Weaverville - Suella Mooney died Tuesday, March 28, 2006. Mrs. Mooney was born in Haywood County and was a resident of Buncombe County for more than 50 years. She retired from Southern Bell. Suella was the daughter of the late Ralph Whitlock and Maude Farmer Whitlock Hughey and wife of the late Francis J. Mooney, who died in 1988.
Surviving are daughters, Suella Holler, Alma Villani, and Diane Mooney; son, Russel J. Mooney; sister, Barbara Trogdon and several grandchildren.
