SAVANNAH, Mo. --Karen K. "Bugs" (Degase) Lundy, Savannah, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Living Community in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Karen was born August 13, 1938 to Luey and Gladys Ethlyn (Irvin) Degase.
She married Keith Lundy on April 30, 1957 in St. Joseph and he preceded her in death in 1990.
Karen loved the Lord, her family, and grandchildren. She enjoyed boating, water skiing, flowers, playing and watching basketball, camping and campfires. Her favorite thing was watching her grandchildren play in the Savannah High School Marching Savages Band.
Survivors include her children; Bryan (Kelly) Lundy of Cole Camp, Missouri, Kris Courter of St. Joseph, and Bruce (Shelly) Lundy of Savannah; brothers, Goy (Dorothy) Degase of Maryville, David (Jan) Degase of Maryville, Missouri, Timmy (Janet) Degase of Maryville, and Allen (Glenda) Degase of Falls City, Nebraska; sisters, Jeannine Andrus of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Marcia (Don) Allen of Oak Harbor, Washington; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Elgie Degase, Roger Degase, Jimmy Degase, Colin Degase; sister, Elaine (Snookie) Stanton and an infant great-granddaughter.
A Celebration of life will be held at the First Baptist Church Savannah, on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 10 a.m. Family will receive visitors at First Baptist Church Savannah, on Wednesday July 31, 2019 from 5-8 p.m.
Interment will be in Savannah Cemetery.
Memorial contribution can be made to the Savannah High School Marching Savages Band.
