Myrtle Enoulia Padgett Paradis, 85, of Duncan, SC, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019.

Born in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Olen S. Sr. and Eliza Pearson Padgett; predeceased by her husband of sixty-one years, Raymond Donald Paradis, who passed away on July 20, 2015.

A homemaker and former member of Startex Wesleyan Church, where she was a nursery worker and sang in the choir.

Survived by three daughters, Jane Haskell (David) of Greer, Tina Paradis, and Kim Ficklin of Spartanburg; two grandchildren, Amanda Haskell and Kyle Ficklin; three great-grandchildren, which she called “blessings in her old age”, Jordan, Greyson and Maci Ray; a sister, Nettie Padgett Coggins of Woodruff.

Predeceased by five brothers, Andrew Wofford Padgett, Robert Lee "Bob" Padgett, Olen S. "Junior" Padgett, Samuel Padgett, and Infant Son Padgett; two sisters, Annie Jane Padgett Russell and Etrulia Padgett Carter.

Funeral Services were held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Larry Padgett and Donnie Padgett officiating. Interment was at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family received friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm prior to the service.
