Mr. Russnogle was born on May 17, 1932, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Roland Henry Russnogle and Sara Ellen Getty Russnogle.
He joined the U. S. Navy in 1952 and served until 1954.
In 1953 he married Bette Ann Robertson Russnogle and were married for 66 years until his passing.
Dwight was an Executive for the Boy Scouts of America for 34 years. After his retirement in 1992, he began working part time for Stewart Brothers Hardware in Bartlett, TN. For over forty-five years Dwight served as a Southern Baptist Ordained Deacon.
Mr. Russnogle was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Roy Russnogle, and one granddaughter, Stephanie Russnogle.
He is survived by his loving wife Bette, his children; Julie Ann Russnogle, James Arthur Russnogle and his wife Joyce Ann Grisham Russnogle, one sister, Janet Russnogle Newman, two brothers; Phillip Russnogle, Robert Russnogle, four grandchildren; Jonathan Mahlon Russnogle, Lauren Elizabeth Russnogle Welborn and her husband, Codie, James Matthew Russnogle, Anna Ray Russnogle Stanley and her husband, Harrison, and one great grandson, Chase Andrew Stanley.
A graveside service will be held at 10am, on Monday, July 29, 2019 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Pky. Bartlett, TN
