Visitation for Jay A. Collett, 81, will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. Graveside service is planned for 10 a.m. Monday at Elk (Wash.) Cemetery No. 1.
Mr. Collett, who was born in Vernal, Utah, died Wednesday.
He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and worked in the maintenance department for Riverside School District.
Mr. Collett was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had been a resident of Spokane since 1952.
Survivors include his wife, Vineta; a daughter, Sharon Dale of Chattaroy; two sisters, Opal Hatt of Riverton, Utah, and Luella Smith of Kearns, Utah; three brothers, Leon Collett of Pleasanton, Calif., Edward Collett of Murray, Utah, and Milo Collett of Sandy, Utah.
