EUNICE - The family of Abigail LaFleur Gartman announces her passing on Friday, July 26, 2019 at her home at the age of 60. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at Time, Day, and Place pending. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with (Pending) officiating.
Abigail was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Her life revolved around family, especially her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 14 years, Ronnie Joseph Gartman of Eunice; daughter, Shayla Thibodeaux and Curley Vallaire III of Eunice; three brothers, Raven LaFleur and wife, Leila of Eunice, James LaFleur and wife, Jackie of Point Blue, and Steven LaFleur of Eunice; three sisters, Gretta Bergeron and husband, Donald, Nita DeRanger and husband, Michael, and Charlene Gatte and husband, Carl, all of Eunice; and the joys of her life, her three grandchildren, Jaslynn Marie, Abriona Janae, and Kashton James Ozima Vallaire; as well as extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Alverda Bertrand LaFleur; and sister and brother in-law, Brenda Thibodeaux and husband, Lloyd.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on
Day and Time pending.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the funeral home.
