Ronald O. Thurlo age 70 of Webb City passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Webb City, Missouri on September 30, 1948 to Mason and Maude Thurlo. Ronald graduated from Webb City High School in the class of 1966. He worked for the Atlas Powder Company for 28 years and then came to work for the street department in Webb City until his retirement. Ronald married Barbara (Lowery) Thurlo on October 6, 1967 in Joplin, Missouri and she survives him. He is also survived by his sons, Rob Thurlo and wife Dana of Webb City, Craig Thurlo and wife Michelle of Webb City; a brother, Jim Warren of Webb City; grandchildren, Kaleb Forkner, Kallie Thurlo, Dylan Williams, Dalton Thurlo, Destiny Thurlo; and a great grandson, Greyson Thompson. Ronald’s wishes were to be cremated and the family will be present for a memorial visitation on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City. A graveside committal will be held at Webb City Cemetery on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory. Services are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
