Jean Brown Smith, age 68, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at her home in Centerville.

She was born in Fairfield, July 9, 1951 to parents, R.E. “Buddy” Brown and Opal Lois Newsom Ellis Brown.

Jean is survived by her husband of 49 years, Danny Smith of Centerville; children, Shannon Wolfe and husband, Duane of Bryan; Kasey Ginsel and husband, Clay of Centerville; grandchildren, Nicole Wolfe and fiancé, Callie Luca of Austin, Kamryn Ginsel of Centerville, Carson Ginsel of Centerville; brothers, Garvin Ellis of Centerville, Don Ellis of Huntsville; and very special friend, Pam Stubblefield of Ninevah.

She was preceded in death by parents, R.E. “Buddy” and Opal Brown; brother, Mitchell Ellis; sisters, Ruth Moore and Cecil Terrell.

Funeral Services for Jean Brown Smith will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2019 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow in Creek Cemetery in Austonio. Visitation will be held from Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home. The family requests that you please bring your favorite picture of Jean to display at visitation.
