ALVA L. FARRINGTON - WILSON - The funeral for Alva L. Farrington, 58, Wilson, who had taught school in Ellsworth county the past 22 years, will be at 2 pm Friday in the Presbyterian Church at Wilson, the Rev. C. W. Creight officiating.

Burial will be in the Wilson city cemetery, with graveside services by the Wilson American Legion post.

Mr. Farrington died Tuesday night at the Ellsworth county hospital. He was born Feb. 22, 1913, in Lincoln county. He taught school in Lorraine and Wilson, and for the past several years had taught English and history at Ellsworth high school. He was a World War 2 veteran.

Survivors are 4 brothers, Chester, Wichita; Earl, Minneapolis; Raymond and Charles, both of Lucas; and 5 sisters, Mrs. George Rimbe, Ellsworth; Mrs. Fay Brown, Wichita; Mrs. Clarence Watkins, Salina; Mrs. Harold Hutchinson and Mrs. Ernest Pekarek, both of Wilson.

Friends may call at the Stiles mortuary until the service.
