Born October 15, 1916 in Saginaw, Michigan and passed away June 26, 2007 in Denton, Texas. Ralph graduated from the University of Michigan, his Bachelors of Science in 1938 and his Masters in Geology in 1940. Ralph married Sally Ann Chapin in 1942. He was employed as a geologist by Pure Oil Company from 1941-1951, Republic Natural Gas Company from 1951-1962 and then Mobil Oil Corporation from 1962-1982. Ralph was a deacon at the Churchill Way Presbyterian Church in Dallas in 1960. He did considerable volunteer work at Presbyterian Hospital, North Dallas Food Bank, and at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Sally Ann Chapin Beeker and by his daughter, Barbara Beeker Suiter. Survived by son, Ralph Edward Beeker, Jr.; grandchildren, Connie Baucum, Sally Villarreal, James E. Suiter, and Edward Beeker; and 8 great grandchildren
