Archie Elice Merrell, 81, of Ashdown, AR passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at his home. He was born November 14, 1937 in Ashdown to the late Archie and Martha Merrell. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and four sisters. Mr. Merrell was the owner of Merrell’s Fish Market in Ashdown.
Survivors include three sons and three daughters-in-law, Archie E. and Ruth Merrell of Logansport, LA, Joe and Lois Merrell of Pine Bluff, AR and Kevin and Charlotte Merrell of Ashdown, one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Lorraine and Kenneth Creech of New Boston, TX, twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and companion, Carolyn Johnson.
A memorial service will be Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Hopewell Baptist Church.
