Mr. John Glenn Terry, age 85, of Reidville, NC, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham.
Mr. Terry was born in Dallas, NC, January 19, 1934, a son of the late J.R. Terry and Agnes Greene Terry. He was a retired heavy equipment mechanic and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are two son, David Terry of Yanceyville, NC and Joel Terry of Elon, NC; a brother, James “Moon” Terry and wife Shirley of Gaffney; seven grandchildren, Heather Terry, Shana Terry, Greg Sales, Logan Terry, Chelsea Terry, Josh Terry, and Sonia Terry; and ten great-grandchildren. Mr. Terry was predeceased by a son, Michael Terry; five sisters, Margaret Inman, Marlene Spencer, Bobbie Black, Frances House, and Laura Elizabeth Wade; and one brother, Jerry “Buttercup” Terry.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Dwight Easler. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the services.
