It is our pleasure to chronicle the marriage of our genial station agent, F.D. Rhodes, to Miss Eva M. Beers, of Nelson, Nebr. The happy event took place at the residence of the bride's parents, in Nelson, Pastor Abbot officiating. A goodly number of friends and relatives assembled at the bride's home to witness the ceremony, with the best of wishes for the young couple that their journey through life might be:

'Through haunts where velvet rose leaves rain,
Its sweetness o'er, and o'er against.'

A sumptuous feast was set before the merry party by Mrs. Beers, and the bride was well remembered by her friends as the following gifts will attest:

Silver pie knife, friend in Toulon, Ills.
Silver pickle castor, Misses Moon, Spurck and Dodell
Silver teaspoons, Mr. and Mrs. Rennick.
Silver tablespoons, Mr. and Mrs. S. Galley.
