Curtis spent 19 years as a postal worker. He was a member of the local senior center here. He was a Sergeant in the US Army in World War II. He was discharged October 6, 1945. He was affiliated with the Church of Christ.
Curtis is survived by his wife Fay; two daughters; two sons; sisters Verna Potter, Dorothy Harbour, Adelaide Hegnaver, and Inez Tallard; and nine grandchildren.
Interment was in the Alturas Cemetery and the Rev. Lester Brittell officiated.
