Died Thursday, Aug. 31, 1989, at Idlewild Nursing Center, St. Francisville. He was 59, a native of Clarks and resident of St. Francisville. He was an attorney and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict.

Visiting at Jackson Hall, adjacent to Grace Episcopal Church, St. Francisville, 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Religious services at Grace Episcopal Church, 5 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Dimmick. Burial in Old Bethel Cemetery, Clarks, 11 a.m. Monday.

Survived by wife, Mrs. Anne Purnell Jackson, St. Francisville; two daughters, Nanette Davis Kirmse, Englewood, Colo., and Martie Anne Herrington, Woodville, Miss.; three sons, Jefferson Purnell Jackson, Lafayette, Fred C. Jackson Jr., Zachary, and James Alexander Jackson, Wakefield; and five grandchildren.

He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Kappa Sigma fraternity, American Legion Post No. 164 and was a Mason.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Episcopal Church Building Fund or Capital City Hospice Association. Berryhill Funeral Home, Woodville, Miss., in charge of arrangements.
