Paul Neville Algee, Jr., 86, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at The Bridge at Ridgely.

He was born on May 24, 1933, in Tiptonville, TN, to the late, Paul Neville Algee, Sr. and the late, Mary Louise Yongue Algee. Paul was a retired farmer and was a member of Tiptonville First United Methodist Church. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and had served as a commissioner for the Lake County Utility District and for the Gibson County Electric Corporation. Paul was a Mason, a Shriner and a U.S. Army Veteran.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Barbara Fortune-Blackmon officiating. Burial will be in Tiptonville City Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2019 at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Margie Patterson Algee of Ridgely; two daughters, Laurie Algee Ashe and husband, Jeff, of San Jose, CA and Amy Floyd of Ridgely; a son, Robert Coats and wife, Valerie, of Dyersburg; seven grandchildren, Ryan Ashe, Anna Kathryn Ashe, John Floyd, Roxie Floyd, Robert Hunter Coats, Ross Coats and Henry Coats; and a great-granddaughter, Savannah Simmons.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Donlon Algee; and a sister, Mary Maude Hearn.

Pallbearers will be Trent Patterson, Kent Patterson, John Floyd, Robert Hunter Coats, Chad Hearn and Jeremy Hearn. Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Markham, Jimmy Hearn, David Gooch, Jeff Ashe, Ryan Ashe, Robert Coats and John Parker Dean.

Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
