Reynolds Bridge lost a life long resident in the death Tuesday [14 Feb. 1933] of Albert Benson, 79, who had been in ill health for several years. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frank Bellmay, a brother Thomas of Brooklyn, NY, two half sisters, Mrs. William Costello of Waterbury and Mrs. Mary Corcoran of Oakville, two grandchildren, Mrs. Floyd Monroe and Leslie Bellmay, and two great-grandchildren of Reynolds Bridge.
Mr. Benson was for many years employed by the old knife company and was an expert workman. Funeral services were held this afternoon [17 Feb. 1933] from the Hotchkiss funeral parlors at 230 o'clock. The Rev. Edwared B Haines officiated. Burial will be in Hillside cemetery in the spring, the body having been placed in the Williams Memorial vault. The bearers were members of the Ancient Order of Foresters, of which Mr. Benson was a member.
