Wanda Lou Watkins Chilton Willis passed away July 16, 2019. She was born February 1, 1926, in Caruthersville, MO to the late Jesse "Pidge" Watkins and Francis Marie Orey Watkins. She was married to the late Bobby Gene Chilton and the late Harold Willis. She has been a member of the Sacred Heart Parish since childhood, and was active in Catholic Ladies until her health failed. She was active in the Caruthersville Historical Society for many years.
She is survived by three children: Robert Chilton of Chestwood, KY, Susan Chiton Moss, and Melissa Chilton Howell of Caruthersville; two Granddaughters: Kristin Chilton of Lexington, KY and Deorey Moss Schneider of Newport News, VA; three great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
Wanda was preceded in death by brother: George Watkins, and two sisters; Marjorie Watkins Schaefer, and Bonnie Watkins Hepler of Caruthersville.
She is survived by Betty Watkins of Lewisville, AR, Maxine Watkins Sides of Poplar Bluff, Mo, Norma Watkins Knott of Caruthersville, Mary Watkins Elkins of Hayti, MO and Joe Watkins of Caruthersville, numerous nieces and nephews ad friends and fellow parishioners.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 19 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Ibok officiating.
Interment in Little Prairie Cemetery
H.S. Smith Funeral Home in charge of services.
