EL CAMPO - Phyllis Lee Boswell, 63, of El Campo, died Sunday, June 13, 2004.

She was born June 2, 1941, in Big Spring, to Truman Clanton of Humble and Ann Zalman of El Campo. She was a secretary for Matagorda County Navigation District No. 1 and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Republican Women of Matagorda County.

Survivors: husband, F.L. Boswell Jr. of El Campo; step-daughters, Sanlin Cory of San Francisco and Kitty Herda of Jacksonville, Fla.; sons, Lat Bloomfield of Waynesboro, Miss., Linc Bloomfield of Blessing and Larry Bloomfield of Beasley; step-son, Freddie L. Boswell III of Chicago; sister, Sharon Faltisek of El Campo; four grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: step-father, Ed Zalman; brother, Bruce Zalman.

Visitation begins at 11 a.m. today at Triska Funeral Home chapel.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Memorial Park Cemetery under the auspices of the Order of the Eastern Star. Triska Funeral Home, El Campo, 979-543-3681.
