Evelyn M. (Baeth) Barrett, 80, of Fort Benton, a retired homemaker, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at her home of natural causes. Private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Evelyn M. (Baeth) Barrett was born on July 9, 1931 to Almond Maitland and Hazel Chloe (Ambers) Barrett in Malta, Montana; the last surviving member of Al's and Hazel's family. She married Ervin A. Baeth in 1951, they later divorced. Evelyn is survived by her four children, Karen (Steve) Sink, Ervin A. Baeth Jr, Ronnie (Angie) Baeth and Judy Steinbach; grandchildren Kevin Sink, Jesse Sink, Kelsey (Clay) Neal, Danielle Baeth, Kaylee Baeth, Miles Steinbach and Skylar Steinbach. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and two sisters. Simply – she was a mother and a grandmother who was loved and will be missed by her family.
