Mrs. Bonefeld, Stonington, Dies

Mrs. Anna Marie Bonefeld, widow of Christian H. Bonefeld and oldest resident of the Stonington Peninsula, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Hans C. Bonefeld in Stonington. She was 93.

Mrs. Bonefeld, who had lived in Als, Denmark, April 14, 1858. She came to the United States in 1881 and her marriage took place in Escanaba the following year. She worshipped at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Surviving are the one son, one grandson, Alfred Hansen of Ensign, and one granddaughter, Alice Bonefeld of Detroit. Her husband died March 6, 1923.

The body was taken to the Anderson Funeral Home. Arrangements for the services will be completed tomorrow.

The body will be moved at 1 Sunday afternoon from the Anderson funeral home to the Trinity Lutheran Church of Stonington, where the funeral services will be held at 2 Sunday afternoon. The Rev. Johannes Ringstad of Escanaba will officiate. Burual will be in the Stonington cemetery.
