Mr. Egan was born in New Haven, Conn., and attended elementary school there. He received his secondary education at Jesuit School, Los Gatos, Calif., and a college degree frorn Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash. Mr. Egan has taught school in California, Montana and New York. Mr. Egan leaves his wife, Mary, assistant principal of Primrose School, one daughter, Mrs. John D. Dorett of Katonah, and three grandchildren. A requiem mass will be offered at St. Joseph's Church in Croton Falls. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Somers at 10 a m. Saturday. Arrangements are by Clark Funeral Home.
