She was born on February 1, 1933 in Davidson County to Charlie L. Hedgecock and Amie Linville Kennedy Hedgecock.
She retired as a bookkeeper with Dixie Container in High Point. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, where she served in The United Methodist Women, the church choir, and was a member of the Willing Worker’s Sunday School Class.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Lee Green on July 20, 2006, whom she married in April 1954, and a brother, Linzo Hedgecock.
Surviving are her two sons, Tony Green and wife Geneva of Sophia, and Scott Green and wife Paige of High Point; sisters, Geraldine Fowler and husband Mirion, and Judy Wall, all of High Point; brother, Hubert Hedgecock and wife Becky of High Point; grandchildren, Brian Green and wife April, Adam Green and wife Jessi, Riley and Macey Green; great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Kadie, and Easton Green; and several nieces and nephews.
