I found a bottle with a note inside a plastic bag and the note reads
"This belonged to Mary Ann Hoskins Blenkiron Brunsill. Hoskins was her maiden name. She married Thomas Blenkiron, who drowned in the Rockdale Flood in 1876. Mary Ann was pregnant and Thomas sent her and her sister to safety to her mothers home on Bryant Street (two houses down the hill from 189, where she later lived with James Brunskill her second husband)
He returned to the store they owned….
It says Thomas and his brother lost their lives in the flood.
