Ted was of the Catholic Faith and retired from Haliburton (Brown and Root). He was a native of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Shirley Necaise Morel; his brothers, Alton, Raymond, and Pete; and his sister, Linda Fayard.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey; his sister, Rita M. Martin; his granddaughter, Kristin Morel Poyadou (Rodney); his great granddaughters, McKenzie and Leighton Stallings; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be at Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln, Mississippi on Monday, July 15, from 9:00 AM until 10 AM for family, and 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM for friends, with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at noon.
Entombment at Bayou CoCo Cemetery in Kiln, Mississippi will follow at 1:00 PM.
