A.B. Dorsey,88, dies last night at Arma home.
Arma, Feb 13 - A.B. (Dad) Dorsey, 88, janitor at the Washington School here for the past 21 years, died at 9:45 o'clock last night. Having suffered a stroke of paralysis last Monday morning, Mr. Dorsey had been in critical condition since. His health had been failing for some time.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bessie Maddick of Des Arc, Ark., and Mrs. J.A. Lindsay of Long Beach, Calif; a son, Lester Dorsey of Springfield, Mo.; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Mr. Dorsey, who was born Jan 29, 1849, in Austin, Ill., had lived in Arma for 25 years. The body was taken to the Siple-Friskel chapel here.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Methodist church here with Rev. F.C. Sutton and Rev. W.E. Babb in charge of the rites. The body will be taken to Oklahoma for burial, on Monday.
