Plain City Farmer Is The Fifth Victim of Disease
Wheatley Lorenzo Blanch, 32, a farmer of Plain City, died this morning at 2 : 20 o'clock after three weeks' illness from typhoid
fever. His death is the fifth to occur, from the same disease in Ogden and vicinity the last two weeks. Mr. Blanch was said to have been
trucking between Plain City and Ogden. . Born in West Weber, February 28, 1897, the son of Christian C. and Annie Blanch, he lived there until 1918. June 26, 1918, he married Florence Eunice Palmer and since then has resided In Plain City. He was a member of he L.D.S. church.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three children,
Florence Elizabeth, Keith and Mabel Blanch, all of Plain City; Mrs.
Peter Winter, Huntsville; Mrs. Leo Johanson, Huntsville; George
Blanch, Salt Lake; Willard Blanch, Promontory Point; Ralph Blanch,
Plain City, and Leonard, Elmer, Margaret and Roy Blanch of West
Weber.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 o'clock 'in the Plain
City ward chapel with Bishop's Counselor Elvin H. Maw presiding.
The body may be viewed at the family residence Saturday afternoon
and evening and Sunday until time of services. Burial will be in
the Ogden city cemetery under the direction of Lindquist and Sons.
