She was born Oct. 4, 1922, in Anderson, the daughter of John and Clara (Hessler) Lang, and lived here her entire life.
Agnes is survived by her children, Judy (William) Ingles, Julia Daugherty, Susan Richardson, Cindy (Jeff) Gilleland, Andrea (Mark) Maudlin and Gary (Jill) Amrine; 32 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Amrine; daughter, Marianne Short; granddaughter, Christy Ingles; grandson, Michael Maudlin; great-grandchildren, Brayden Ingles and Kyler L'Homme; brothers, John Lang, Francis Lang and Ernest Lang; and sisters, Catherine Elkin and Monica VanNoy.
The family would like to thank the staffs at St. Vincent Hospice and Crown Pointe Senior Living for their wonderful care of Agnes.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Mark Walter officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery.
