Mr. Charles Ronald "Ronnie" Brown, age 62, of Lake City, Fla. died Tuesday, April 26, 2011
In the V.A. Medical Center, Lake City, Fla. following a brief illness. He was born in Lake
City and resided in Orlando, Fla. before moving back to Lake City 15 years ago. He work-
ed for the Orange County Dept. of Corrections, the Columbia County Sheriffs Dept. and
retired as a correctional officer from R.F.C., Lake Butler, Fla. after 14 years of service. He was an Army nveteran of the Vietnam War.

He was member of the First Advent Christian Church, Lake City, Fla. and an avid fan of
the Georgia football team. He is survived by his daughter, Cameron Staci Brown of Lake
City, Fla.: His son, Christopher Ryan Brown of Lake City, Fla.: His mother, Rita Roberts of
Lake City, Fla.: Three step-sisters, Marty Waldron and Marilyn Williams both of Lake City, Fla.
and Carolyn Griffin of Jacksonville, Fla.: His aunt, Pat Buckles of Lake City, Fla.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Friday, April 29, in Memorial Cemetery with Rev.
Fred Gaylord, Pastor of the First Advent Christian Church, officiating and assisted by Deacon Tom
Amerson. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Thursday, April 28, 2011.
