It doesn't happen often, but I think the parents on this memorial for Arthur Babin are incorrect. I believe the data on this headstone indicate it is for Arthur Joseph Babin, born to Narcisse Babin (1858-before 1900) and Marie Louise Chiasson (1862-????). Your cite to the 1900 census adds some confirmation; he and other siblings are living at Marie's parents, the Chiassons, which makes sense because it looks like the father, Naricsse Babin, had already passed by 1900.
