Peggy Lou (Atkinson) Chappell, 68, passed away on July 6, 2019. Peggy was born on August 5, 1950 in Oklahoma City to Earl and Minnie Atkinson and was the last of thirteen to be born. She married Tim Chappell on December 21, 1968 and from that marriage had 3 children. Peggy enjoyed growing flowers and her favorite movie was African Queen. Peggy is survived by her husband of 50 Β½ years, Tim Chappell; children, Stephen Chappell, Kristi Wilder, and Leann Berry; grandchildren, Jonathan Chappell, Emily Berry, Ashlee Berry, and Elizabeth Berry; daughter-in-law, Pam Pece; son-in-law, Chad Berry; siblings, Betty Marsh, Sharon Neill & husband Harold, Faye Knight & husband Hal, James Atkinson & wife Virginia, Ray Atkinson & wife Sharon, and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Minnie Atkinson. Services for Peggy will be Thursday, July 11, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Blanchard, located at 919 NE 10th St, Blanchard, OK. Visitation will be for one hour prior to service time. Services are under the direction of John Ireland Funeral Home.
