Lyle W. Sischo

HAUGHTON, LA - A memorial service honoring the life of Lyle Sischo will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9 at University Church of Christ in Shreveport where he served as a deacon for many years. Officiating will be Jerry Hodge, minister.

Lyle was born on August 30, 1938 in Salem, Oregon and passed away at home in Haughton on July 9, 2009 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Lyle was preceeded in death by his parents Blanche Hayes and Harry Sischo, and brother George Litchfield. He is survived by his wonderful wife of 50 years, Sandra; two sons Wesley and Craig (and wife P.J.); one daughter, Denise (and husband Mack); seven grandchildren, Josh (and wife Jen), Jeremy (and fiance Amy), Matthew, Michael, Rowdy, Danni and Taittum; one great granddaughter, Kaitlyn, one brother Gary (and wife Peggy), one sister Joanne and numerous other family and friends.

He will be dearly missed.
