Craig H. Findlay, 73, of 1405 Albia Road died Feb. 17, 1987, at Humana Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nev. He was born June 20, 1913, in Douds to Hugh and Bertha Hanshaw Findlay. He was retired from John Morrell and Co. and had served in the U.S. Armv during World War II. He was a life member of Disabled American Veterans and a member of American Legion. He married Opal Christine Kinkade on Oct. 2, 1948, in Eldon, Mo. He is survived by his wife; a son, Dennis of Ottumwa; two daughters, Judith Ann Wright of Ottumwa and Gene Dee Provence of Fountain Valley, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and two brothers, George of Casa Grande, Ariz. and Max of Ottumwa. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bible Baptist Church, the Revs. Ival Robinson and Gary Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in Shrine of Memories Mausoleum.
