Obituary: Garley D. Robinette, 62, of Gallipolis passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at his residence. Born on September 17, 1956 in Williamson, WV, Garley was the son of the late Hugh and Naomi Church Robinette. Garley was a U.S. Army veteran who enjoyed fishing and working on cars. Garley is survived by his daughter, Tami (Rob) Carpenter of Gahanna, OH; granddaughters, Caitlynn Carpenter and Lauren Carpenter of Gahanna; great grandson, Brantley Held; and friends, Joe Lawrence Sr., Joe Lawrence, Jr., and Crystal Lawrence. In addition to his parents, Garley was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Robinette. A graveside service for Garley will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Brush Cemetery. Military honors will be given by the Gallia County Funeral Detail.
