She loved being outdoors, and was never afraid to tackle jobs around the house. Doris loved quilting and cooking and everybody looked forward to her cooking, especially during the holidays. She was a member of the Fayetteville Brethren Church, close to the house she took so much care in restoring. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Corine Alexander. She is also survived by her brothers, Delbert Geisler and Elroy Geisler of Giddings, Texas. Lee Roy Cervenka was born December 16, 1931 in Houston, Texas to Joseph and Lottie Cervenka. He attended San Jacinto High School and Texas A&M University, receiving a Master Degree in Chemical Engineering. Lee Roy was honorably discharged from the Army as a First Lieutenant.
