Services for Hezekiah Nash, 82, were held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Gaililee M. B. Church with burial in Wright Cemetery. Nash died Jan. 28, 1991 at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital following an illness of several weeks. He was a native of Leake County, served on the deacon board, was a Sunday School teacher and was a former school board trustee. He was a member of Galilee Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosie Lee Clark Nash; six daughters, Mrs. Vergie Lee Mallctt of Waterloo, la., Mrs. Earline Jackson, Mrs. Nclra Martin of Milwaukee, Wi., Mrs. Velma Nash, Mrs. Elizabeth McCcllan of Durant and Mrs. Rosie M. Norwood of Itta Bena; Also five sons. Nelson Nash, Matthew Nash of Milwaukee, James Nash of Kosciusko, David L. Nash of Detroit, Mich, and Hezekiah Dean Nash of Durant; a sister, Mrs. Mattie Rainey of Kosciusko; 33 grandchildren, 23 great- grandchildren and two great-greatgrandchildren. Grandsons served as pallbearers. The Rev. L. L. Youngblood officiated and Winters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
