Frank W. Stockstill, 91, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in South Lawn Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Kinch officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St.

Mr. Stockstill was born in Branson, Mo. He worked in the shipyards of Bremerton, Wash., and Long Beach, Calif., during World War II.

He was a brick mason and a member of the bricklayer union. Later he became a building contractor in Anchorage, Alaska. He traveled to Mexico on a mission trip and helped build churches.

He returned to Amarillo from Anchorage in 1975. He was a member of the Baptist church.

He married Edna Randolph in 1934 at Amarillo.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Dale Stockstill of Amarillo; a daughter, Janis May of Green Valley, Ariz.; a brother, Wilbur Stockstill of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Leah Dell Randolph of Selah, Wash.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch.
