Funeral Services for William "Billy" Ryan Byrd, age 80, of Pine Grove Community, MS, who passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019, will be held Monday, July 1, 2019, at 11:00 am at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Monday, July 1, 2019 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
A native of Pine Grove, MS, he was a retired Property Administrator for Rocket Dyne at NASA and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Billy enjoyed farming. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Arthur Byrd and Chella Elaine Williamson Byrd; 2 brothers and 3 sisters; and his daughter in law, Becky Byrd.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 55 years, Julia Ann "Judy" Crowder Byrd; his sons, Steven (Deanne) Byrd and Evan Byrd; 5 grandchildren, Shelby Byrd, Morgan Byrd, Savannah Byrd, Tyler Byrd, and Grayson Byrd; his brother, Tommy Byrd, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Baptist Children's Village.
